I have noticed several Resveratrol supplements on the market are less than forthcoming about dose. Be a careful shopper, and be SURE to look of mg of trans resveratrol. A 98% resveratrol extract offers the low-emodin level that is critical for avoiding a laxative effect while avoiding the high cost of a 99% extract.
Relentless Improvement offers a high purity 300mg per capsule of trans resveratrol product that allows you to experience the benefits of a high-dose Resveratrol lifestyle. Using a 50% resveratrol extract in high doses essentially guarantees that you will spend most of your day and night in the restroom. Be a careful shopper! |

Lots of great news about resveratrol:
See this news article from the Atlanta Journal Constitution: "Expect new drugs to treat aging, researchers say Resveratrol, substance found in red wine, benefits health" ""The general public has no idea what's coming," said David Sinclair, a Harvard Medical School professor who has made headlines with research into the health benefits of a substance found in red wine called resveratrol" And from a resveratrol story in the International Herald Tribune: "The study is based on dosing mice with resveratrol, an ingredient of some red wines. Some scientists are already taking resveratrol in capsule form..." and "Wisconsin researchers conclude that resveratrol can mimic many of the effects of a caloric-restricted diet "at doses that can readily be achieved in humans." While this is very exciting, keep in mind research is ongoing. But resveratrol is currently looking like a very good bet for those of us seeking the fountain of youth in pill form. Cheers, Pete |
