The Methuselah Mouse Prize (MPrize.org) is now up to $4,168,637. The SENS fund is at $4,040,830.

Innovative and controversial, The Methuselah Foundation has garnered much interest and publicity over the past several years, including Aubrey de Grey's interview by Morley Safer on the widely watched 60 Minutes news program.

Peter Thiel, co-founder and CEO of PayPal has pledged $3.5 million in matching funds from now until the end of 2009.

I like their approach of treating aging as a disease.

I follow this prize, it's really cool. More enhanced science is the next step, because supplements can only slow it down until then.
