MSG, Glutamate. Yummy goodness? Or Satan's Salt?

I never realized MSG- MonoSodium Glutamate was such a polarizing substance. Some folks would see the stuff banned as toxic waste. Others say you can eat it by the pound with no ill effects.

There is an MSG article in the Guardian I really enjoyed. Maybe you will too?
